1．Sample submission

When applying for a new certification, it is necessary to submit at least one (one set of) test items (samples used for testing etc.).
There is no exception to this for imported products or items that are applied separately.
Samples should be submitted to our association.
In addition, please prepare a sample in the new certification desired place (visiting examination conduct place) when it is assumed that the certification person carries out the attendance examination.

2．Sample submission time and method

As a general rule, samples should be submitted at the same time as the application.

We will contact you when the test is completed, so please pick up the sample as soon as possible.

4．Precautions for sample submission and withdrawal
- (1) In the case of a heavy sample, please arrange for a vehicle with a lifting device.
- (2) When submitting or taking back samples, please submit an invoice or consignment letter so that the applicant’s name, item name and reception number can be identified.
- (3) When sending by consignment, etc., please specify the destination of the sample as “Affiliation of Industrial Safety and Technology Association Testing and Examination Department”.
- (4) If you wish to return by consignment etc., please fill in the required items on the “Cash on delivery” invoice and submit it with the application form.
- (5) The sample should be able to identify the applicant’s name and accession number by filling in oil-based ink.
5．Types of samples and number of submissions
As a sample, one complete product (one set) will be submitted in principle. However, please submit according to the regulations what is stipulated in the applied standards or machine inspection rules.
However, please be aware that the number of samples to be submitted and the contents of the samples differ depending on the standard of explosion-proof structure and type of test, type of electrical equipment etc.

- (1) If the container has a welded structure and the inside can not be checked, please submit a cut sample (a cut of the finished product so that the inside can be checked) in addition to the container and internal parts before welding.

6．Submission of locking tools and special tools
If you need locking tools and special tools for disassembling and assembling the sample container etc., attach one set of locking tools and special tools in addition to the sample.
